Last night I was searching my drawers and baskets of laundry on the floor - yet to be sorted away properly - to find an outfit. I was having one of those day when nothing seems to fit together. And then I found my high waisted pleated purple shorts.. well they really are to short to even be considered shorts.. But it is brilliant how with one item your whole world seems to come together. Within the next 27 seconds of finding the shorts I had also discovered an outfit!
I also just today bought a pait oh simple two inch cream/rose/salmon pleather pumps which I love. There are exceptionally comfortable and remind me of a some lacy shift dresses H&M had in stock earlier in the year. SO here are the pictures and I hope I can hear some friendly critisism on them.
For some reason my clothing items that are falling apart seem to suit me more than anything else. The brown crocheted oversized tank top from Forever 21 has many diffferent holes from lack of careful wear. And the belt no longer does up properly. But it is the way we fix things that adds character. It is a randomly placed stich in the side of some ripped jeans that makes them cool and I hate how stores are now mass producing things that had recently been considered as broken or indie (style of an individual). I wouldn't mention any names ******GARAGE******* but I can't help myself. I was shocked when I walked into the store for the second time in my life that they now sell seemingly hand sew dresses as a contrast to their past graphich tees which can make any person look like an advertisment. They are tees that looked like they could grow in size 400 X and pretend to be a billboard, promoting trips to hawaii and buying overpriced gas - which is now 128.9 cents! AHH.
This is why I like to buy all of my clothes second hand.. or on super sales.. It isnt just because I am fifteen and broke.
