Ahhh, what can I say? Blogging and I have been apart for a long time now, or at least we haven't been close all summer. But now that the school year has commenced I feel myself getting ready to go again.

It is crazy being in a new place. Since my mom is on tour with her band it is like going away to college. The work is hard, I don't know anyone or any place around me and I come home to my cat and make supper for myself or sometimes my sister.

My new house is above. My rucksack is already bearing the signs of my mom's childhood. I should have taken a couple pictures of those amazing badges she had lying around but I will do it another time.

You know I have had a nice long run of not getting sick but as I type this I am wearing my most comfortable oversized tee, and sporting a runny nose and a nice fever. At least I have the weekend to try and get better. Fingers crossed that I do, I feel like the musical gods have to give me a getaway free card because I have an audition for the "high school musical" monday! We are doing rent and I can't wait to battle against my peers for the lead.. although sophmores don't usually get such an honour do they? Last year was my first year of high school but I wasn't really feeling the coming of age adventure but now I really am. I have my mind set in the 80's and I want to tease my hair and put on leggings everyday and say profound things.
